Interview with Bonner Black
Bonner Black has been compared to the styles of Nancy Wilson, Pat Benatar, and Pink. Growing up on her father’s love of Eagles and Eric Clapton, her lyrics are a poet conversation and her melodies are powerful and catchy. She moved to Nashville in 2012 and performed/wrote as a solo act for 2 years before starting a southern rock/bluegrass band called Little Honey. The band toured for 2 years and opened for The Band Perry, Shooter Jennings, Charlie Daniels, Big Smo, Mel Tillis, and Josh Thompson before decided to split in October of 2015. Bonner has shifted her gear back to her rock and roll roots and released her Rock/Alternative EP, “Reason Or Rhyme” June 6th, 2016. She hopes to be back on the road in the fall.
