Eric Gales was considered a child prodigy.  He started playing guitar at the age of 4 and was taught how to play by his older brothers, Eugene

and Manuel  (pka Little Jimmy King).

He released his first record, “The Eric Gales Band” (Electra), in 1991 at the age of 16.
That same year, Guitar World Magazine’s Reader’s Poll voted Eric as” “Best New Talent.”

In 1993, Eric released his second CDs, “Picture Of A Thousand Faces” (Electra), as well as  his self titled third album, “Eric Gales” (Asylum).

In 1996 Eric and two of his brothers teamed up to form The Gales Brothers and recorded “Left Hand Brand,” which was recorded for the House of Blues label.

In 2001 Eric signed on with the Hendrix family affiliated label, Nightbird Records, and recorded the critically acclaimed CD, “That’s What I Am.”

Eric has often been compared to Jimi Hendrix, and even plays guitar left-handed, like Hendrix, with a right-handed guitar turned upside down, but remarkably, he is right-handed, taught to play guitar left-haned by his left handed brother!

Comparisons to Hendrix notwithstanding, he is no Hendrix clone! Gales has developed his own distinctive blues/rock sound and a unique playing style that embodies and exemplifies his various influences, as diverse as Albert King and Eric Johnson.

In 2006 Eric recorded another critically acclaimed CD, “Crystal Vision” and his incredible follow-up, “The Psychedelic Underground” for the Blues Bureau Label.

In 2008 released "The Story of my Life”, in 2010 he released "Relentless”, followed in 2011 with his release "Transformation”, in 2012 he released his Double “Live” Album/DVD.

In 2013 he released his 12th album, “Pinnick Gales Pridgen” (Magna Carta).

Also in 2013 he released “Ghost Notes” (Tone Center)

In 2014 he released “Good for Sumthin’” (Cleopatra)

His latest release (#15), “A Night on the Sunset Strip” is due out in 2016.

Through the years, Gales garnered dedicated fans world-wide, including A-List Blues and Rock artist celebrities like Carlos Santana, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, B. B. King, and Eric Clapton.

Eric Gales is a force to be reckoned with in the contemporary Rock-Blues scene. mesmerizing fans around the world with his outstanding vocal ability and his amazing, incomparable guitar virtuosity.
